Our Breeding Philosophy
We are a small, home-based breeding program located in Phoenix, Arizona, and what sets us apart is simple: our dogs are not just part of our program—they are part of our family. Our adult dogs live in our home and are fully integrated into everyday life. They accompany us to stores, restaurants, and outings whenever possible, experiencing the real world alongside us. This lifestyle helps shape confident, stable temperaments long before puppies are ever born.
Exceptional medical care is a cornerstone of our program. All of our dogs and puppies receive outstanding veterinary care through Dr. Gilson of Pet Urgent Care, with a highly experienced reproductive specialist involved in every single litter. Each female is thoroughly evaluated prior to breeding and closely monitored throughout pregnancy with routine checkups, ultrasounds, and X-rays. Every puppy is examined at birth and again at eight weeks of age, ensuring they get the best possible start.
Our puppies remain with us longer than most—never leaving before 9–10 weeks of age. During this time, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite prevention, and attentive medical oversight. Each puppy goes home up to date on all preventative care and includes six months of free veterinary care, giving new families added peace of mind during those important early months.
From the very beginning, our puppies receive extensive neonatal handling. These early interactions are intentional and developmentally appropriate, helping to support neurological development, stress resilience, and early human bonding. As the puppies grow, we progressively introduce new obstacles, surfaces, sounds, and age-appropriate challenges for them to explore and conquer. This structured exposure helps build confidence, coordination, body awareness, and problem-solving skills during critical developmental windows.
With a strong background in training and animal behavior—specifically puppy development—our approach to raising puppies is extremely hands-on and purposeful. Puppies participate in health-safe field trips and are exposed to a wide variety of people, environments, and safe, well-mannered dogs. By the time they go home, they have experienced far more than the average puppy, setting them up for smoother transitions and lifelong success.
Our goal is not just to produce healthy puppies, but to raise well-rounded companions who are prepared—emotionally and physically—to thrive in their new homes. We believe how a puppy is raised matters just as much as how they are bred, and that belief guides everything we do.
